Hey my guy, so intel is coming out with their 12th generation CPU so that is what he is saying by "Alder Lake". 11800H chip will be succeeded by 12700H and 12800H processors that have significant performance advantage over the previous gen. Unfortunately laptops with these chips won't come until Feb/March. By then though current 11th generation intel and 5th gen AMD Ryzen laptops should drop in price.

The CPUs show some nice performance gains on productivity but will not make any noticeable difference for gaming especially above 1080p.
