The Classic model has a physical bezel that you can rotate to control the menus. The regular one uses a "virtual" bezel on the edge of the screen, which from what I gather, works decently after updates. It'll obviously never be as reliable as a physical one under all circumstances. However, it also makes the watch significantly heavier and means that for the same screen size, the watch has to be 2mm larger.

Y'all really having that much trouble understanding this man? Belt = watch band. There are 2 lengths sold by Samsung: a small/medium (130-190mm) and a medium/large (145-205mm).

DA, if I was a betting man, I'd bet on small/medium here. But it might depend on what was ordered and if it wasn't used before "refurb". I'm betting on having to buy a band for my thick wrists if I bite. I've been eyeing these for a while.

Good deal. The battery life is not good though just 1 or 2 days

Just know there's still no Google Assistant, and knowing Samsung, there never will be. That kills it for me.

Anyone that's familiar with this gen of watch: is the classic worth the almost $100 premium over the standard model?
Yes. I opted for it.

These are probably returns and resold defective units. I returned my watch 4 classic 46mm lte and sent it into Samsung twice for poor battery life. 1st time they replaced the battery. 2nd time they reimbursed me the original price. It's a beta product at best. Takes 2 hours to charge and couldn't get more then 10 hours. I get 2 days easy on my watch 3 lte. I had pretty much everything disabled on the watch 4.
I hope they fixed the battery. It's no fun charging mid day. The ones at TMobile and best buy seemed to have the same issue as well. 8-10% battery drain per hour. And this was over weeks not days since it does adapt to your usage.

then what do you use the watch for if everything is off? i'd rather turn everything on and charge it every nite.
I want to use mine for sleep tracking, so I'll probably have to charge it in the evening, like I do my phone (currently runs my sleep tracking app).

Battery tech is the last big hurdle we need to overcome for us to be living in the sci-fi future.

about 14 days
14 days on one charge? Maybe if you don't use it for 12 out of those 14 days.

I haven't looked recently, but a couple months ago, that was only available in the EU market. I've seen a few posts about getting the Tizen app to work on it, but haven't spent a lot of time reading up. I think it's in the hardware, but not active here. I have no idea how it works, though, or if it's accurate. I trust the SpO2 to work.

Is this any good? Usually "deals" from Samsung are better.

1.2 days at best. It's not a garmin but better than the apple watch in terms of battery.

Ps: I have the 44mm version of this. Stopped wearing other wearable after I got this.

No, it's the same internals. The main difference is the rim can rotate to switch between apps

The 40mm/42mm has the smaller battery. Hope it works out for you. Definitely read up on some reviews to see if they addressed it. The watch 3 spoiled me it is a perfect product. Regardless this is a good deal I was even tempted to rebuy but may hold out for the watch 5 when it comes out. I need Google assistant haha!

Hope so. I needed smaller/slimmer profile, don't need lte, and watch3 is dead-end, so had to do it.

I use my garmin vivoactive 4 for GPS tracking and streaming music without my phone when I'm on a run. I used to use it for swimming too. I now own a samsung phone. Is it worth it to move to Samsung watch from my garmin?
