i have a big head and fleece beanies rarely works for me. Go with fishermen style cable knit beanie as they stretch better. Uniqlo or 32 degree have affordable stylish ones

I purchased both sizes. You will need the larger size if you are over 9 years old. The smaller size will only work if you like a snug fit and have a chrome dome. The smaller size covers about 3/4 of my ears pulled all the way down. I have the aforementioned chrome dome. Small is very small.
