I tried a wired controller once and the wire just kept getting in the way all the time. Too cumbersome.

Havent had any drifting with these controllers and always charged lol. Might as well have another, no idea if this is even a good deal but still getting. About the same price as the green one from a year ago.

Exactly. Horrid way to play. Heck, on the Nintendo retro box I needed an extension cord just to get away from the tv when playing. Cords are outdated and not necessary.

Yes, it should. I use the PowerA Pikachu controller on PC for Switch emulators, and PC games. Seems decent enough if you can tolerate the wire.

Have the 'enhanced' version from a similar deal. For the way we play Switch, the extra buttons are unnecessary. Otherwise this controller is the same. And I have to say for $12 it's a great deal. The wire is super long (10'), and at least it detaches at the console AND controller so it can be replaced if needed. Very lightweight, this is the only aspect that feels 'cheap' to me but the body itself feels like good plastic, the buttons feel right, and for $12 to have an extra controller for multi-player is well worth it. My real reason for buying this with the Switch is because I heard about joycon drift and wanted to take a $12 gamble on my kids breaking a controller, instead of a $70 gamble.
