Store near me showed 6+ for $4. When I went, an employee looked up item in their handheld inventory scanner since I couldn't find them. She showed there were 36! on hand, but they weren't showing a location

We found the guy who worked in that area and he's all, yeah we put them in the aisle last week and they were gone quick.

So maybe someone else knows, but how does 36 not clear out of inventory? They are still showing on BS a week later after asking.

The other day i found 1 store for $8 and stocked up. Another store nearby is $5, but sold out. The rest of the stores around are $16 which is still a few bucks cheaper than comparable boxes.

That sounds like a pallet that was marked as delivered but wasn't. Or there is a stack in an aisle or endcap in an oddball place like the garden center where one of my stores had them.
