Remember that antennas are be very location dependant. What works for me might not work for you.

Personally i use it for football. FOX NBC CBS quality is better (uncompressed signal) plus its not delayed like when you are streaming.

I would add its not cost dependent either, you could easily have a less expensive work just as well or even better than a more expensive one.

A big drawback to this is best practice is to buy, try it and doesn't work just return it, not as easy to do with these on line deals sometimes.

I need 2 of these. No stores near me. Shows $5.99 shipping. Is this still a good deal for a total of $8.8 including tax and shipping?

True. I have some similar Mohu Leaf antennas. I stuck them up high on the wall and it seemed to work best for me. People should have their TV do a full scan of available channels too after setting it up.

Yes, similar antennas typically go for $10-15 each. IMO $5/each still a deal, especially if you happen to need both.

Cheap but how's the quality on this?

Specs say 30 mile range but I have 50 mile and it's not perfect, I still lose a main channel or 2.

Just curious, what do you guys use this for? Any open air tv contents can't be streamed from internet?

Pure, unadulterated OTA-HD is WAY better than any other source. It is a beautiful picture without added compression from a third party provider. I am 53 miles away from where all of the networks' towers sit and using a somewhat expensive antenna I pick up everything great. I use my PC to record and play back content. Oh, and it's absolutely free to use.
