Isn't this the old one that was prone to snapping? Stereo adapter alone is worth it though.

Received mine today. It actually comes in a white box with a green bottom and has the adapter included and even pictured on the front.

I'm looking for a wireless one to use for work/gaming. Anyone have any good suggestions for something not priced out of control?

Yes, well my headset didn't snap, but the stereo headset adapter just randomly died on me and the audio was jacked. I tried stripping the wire to repair and ultimately failed. The wires are super thin and crappy. Soldering was a nightmare.

Ours snapped, but it was one of the most comfortable headphones that I have used up until that point. In for one.

The Microsoft wireless ones are nice at $100 MSRP. I got mine for $80 I believe at Costco. They replaced my turtle beach stealth 700 which I also enjoyed but something happened when I could no longer charge them while using.

On the original deal, this is a steal for wired headset. Still have mine as a backup to my wireless. The biggest thing I miss is the adapter so you can easily mute or change volume without taking your hands off the control. That is my biggest complaint on wireless is the muting seems to always suck.

How is this compared to using the Xbox iPhone app for audio and communication during games?

My head is too big for these, and I found them painful. I've had mine sitting in a box since I bought it on clearance at micro center 3 years ago.

I'm on the fence about this deal....Specifically because I don't see anywhere that says "adapter included" on the EBAY site (i.e. nothing under the features section). Even the last picture on the Ebay sites shows the product box listing only "stereo headset" (and nothing else).

I know the OP lists this deal as adapter included....but can anyone else provide more insight as to how they know adapter is included?
