Posted this yesterday from Amazon and the deal died after a few hours, came back in stock a few times and is currently OOS. Walmart has now price matched.
As far as the negative reviews, I did see a few reviews on missing and/or extra pieces, but overall reviews seem happy with this challenging puzzle. It is rated 4.8 out of 5 stars on Amazon.
The box, and the first few pictures make it seem like it's an array of 3d plastic lego heads. It's not till third picture in they show a pic with the lines visible between the puzzle pieces and a few unplaced puzzle pieces. That's when I figured out it's just a regular puzzle of a picture of plastic 3d lego heads.
My respect and trust for Lego just went down a notch.
I don't know why society tolerates this sort of thing.
The box clearly says 1000-piece puzzle. The listing clearly says jigsaw puzzle. The fact that some people think it's something other than a puzzle is...puzzling.
On a side note, I was able to get it just now. Many WM deals seem to be YMMV b/c I've put some and people say they are oos but they aren't to me and other people. I think it's regional deals.
Confused on why anyone would want this puzzle. I'd buy literally any other image over this. Just imagine a nice sunset or ocean picture. Maybe lame animal picture or even some anime character.
This puzzle looks challenging sure, but does that mean it's an image I want to look at? No.
It's by lego. I thought at first glance using plastic pieces was their was their take on a puzzle.
I figured it out after 5 seconds but that's not the point. I am analytical. Don't know why you are defending them since the front of the box did not visually signally in any way the potential buyer it was a jigsaw puzzle. Not everyone can read, and most don't bother to read.
Yeah, says 'puzzle' on the box. and the box shows what appears to be a grid of plastic parts. It was the OP that put it was a jigsaw puzzle.
Don't know whats with people that defend deceptive advertising practices instead of for products to be clearly described. So messed up. Can you look at the product page picture, look someone straight in the eye and tell them 'this is clearly a jigsaw' puzzle? Hope not. It comepletly looks like it's a puzzle made from plastic pieces.
Lastly, who wants to buy a Picture of lego pieces? Hard Pass. Maybe good to give to a homeless person so they are lego-less too.
lol i mean i guess if you also didn't look at the $10 price..i think it's a very small minority of anyone who knows anything at all about lego who would've actually at all thought it was just a box of 1000 heads..firstly, they would never sell a bulk product like that, and secondly it would be astronomically more than $10.
agree with the comments about this being difficult and not a great image, though, which is why i hesitated and decided not to jump. with so many near-infinite possible images you could create for lego, this is a strange one, aside from the sheer difficulty, i suppose..

And,
A lot of negative reviews on missing/extra pieces and bad craftsmanship on pieces.
