You bought an inferior product.

The WD_Black SN750 SE is a long way off the performance of the SN850. ... So while the original SN750 (a PCIe 3.0 drive) offers read speeds of 3,400MB/s and the SN850 (PCIe 4.0) can hit 7,000MB/s

I have this for my PS5. It works really good. I highly recommend it for a PS5. You can use this heatsink for it.

That's the one. Reviews seemed good, and for a PS5 all I need is storage that works.

Recommend a heatsink. Installed in Legion 5 Desktop as primary OS drive. WIth WD Dashboard was showing 130-140 degrees. Added the free Heatsink I got from Newegg and now hovers around 100 degrees. Hopefully helps extend the life some.
