I had the medium and it definitely is good quality. I'd still have it if my dog didn't get sprayed by a skunk and run right to her bed...

Personally my dog likes the lambskin rug. If you can find one cheap they love the natural materials.

Holy 💩, OP, the timing!!! I was just saying to my wife last night that we're going to need a new XXL dog bed before we start showing our house, because the old one from LL Bean is a bit ripe (despite washings, it's been in use for 12yrs now so complaints). Thank you!

Bought this in 2020. My dog didn't care for it. Kinda hard and just doesn't feel comfortable. Fast forward a year later, I got him a bed from home goods for around the same price and he knocks out on his back and legs up every time.
