Since Verizon took over, tracfone went to shit completely.
I activated a new card to extend my service date, but they completely zeroed out my balance. They refuse to help. Now I have filed multiple complaints with BBB, FTC, FCC, FL attorney general office.
Tracfone did NOT respond, but decide to close my account. Then someone else is in the process of porting my phone # out without my consent. I contacted TracFone, and they don't care and continued the port out.

1500 Min/Text/Data is for one year, not one month.
Tracfone has updated their unlock policy as follows:
For Customers with non-Apple(ie Android/other) devices: TracFone will provide an unlocking code to customers who request unlocking, provided they meet the following conditions:
- If the TracFone device was activated with TracFone service prior(Before) November 23, 2021, then the device must have been active on TracFone Service for no fewer than 12 months with Service Plans redeemed in no fewer than 12 months, and not have had their telephone number recycled or ported.
-If the TracFone device was activated with new service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, then at least 60 days must have elapsed since the device was activated.
- The device must be in working condition.
- The device has not been reported stolen or lost, and there are no indicators of fraud.
*Note: Not all phones sold by Tracfone work 100% on other carriers so performance may vary. Ask here or Tracfone for more info on that.

The Moto E also has four more Verizon LTE bands (2, 4, 5, 13, 66). The A02s only has band 5.
1. yes
2. unlock is now 60 days (read new policy online, Verizon recently bought company)
3. yes since phone will be unlocked
Be aware this is a very bare bones phone with minimal ram. Know what you're buying & don't expect a lot - for this price you're paying for the service & they're basically giving away the phone for free.
and it excludes Samsung large appliances...not phones.
The CSR rep issued a $20 credit in the form of "Spendable Ka$h"
Then use coupon " HELLO10 " for an extra $10 off, knocking down the price to 30 bucks (before tax) and still free shipping.
Looks like they are very hesitant to give "Spendable Ka$h" credits now, but I did get them to manually override the price after I already placed the order.

I took your advice and it worked perfectly!
Got $20 Spendable Ka$h + Hello10 ($10 off code) = $30 savings
I had to be patient and persistent. At first the agent gave the impression there's nothing she can do. Then suggested adding my payment card again. But in the end resolved my problem with cold, hard "Spendable Ka$h".
It seems to depend on which agent you get. Just be polite and persistent that your code (HSN2022) isn't working no matter what you try. Note, that code is for new customers with no purchase history.

I don't remember ever buying something from them before though.
try contacting them directly. I used their customer service chat and explained the coupon didn't work in the shopping cart checkout.
If they ask, their coupon details can be found at
