This is $200 less on Apple Education Store. The trade in values (for MacBooks) are actually not that bad if you don't want to deal with eBay customers and giving them their 10-12.5% cut.

Good deal if you don't want to go that route.

The $200 less ($2300) is for the 512 GB hard drive. This is for the 1 TB hard drive which is less than the Apple Edu discount.

Thanks OP I bought the 512GB version from Costco for this price in December. Just ordered the 1TB from them last night for the same, will do the mac transfer and return the 512GB next week. Free upgrade.

Looks like the Micro Center deal is dead. Sucks because I was trying to price match with Best Buy but my local Micro Center was out of stock. Now it's back in stock but at a higher price, heh.
