have this one and so far it hasnt melted or caught on fire like some of the pictures from the reviews, but also no trying to use it for a heater either.

I too have one, has worked fine for the last few years.
This looks useful for lighting the grill. Perhaps for SMD solder reflow and taking bubbles out of resin. If nothing else I could use it in the Spring to remove weeds.
Just need to make sure the wife doesn't use it. That would be a horrible prank - hahaha your hair is on fire and the house is burning down!
I have this one, it's ok. Kinda heavy for the size, if you have issues with your hand like arthritis or carpal tunnel you may want a different one. Does sometimes get too hot for my preference, so the button for unheated air is useful in that regard. OTOH it does a fairly quick job of drying long hair.
