Just bring your receipt back and get the price adjusted.
Didn't even. They looked it up and gave me the $20.

They aren't water tight. See those elongated holes on the brim? Water could possibly creep in even in light rain.
I put a sheet of plastic or large black garbage bag over the tote before snapping on the lid.

These are great quality especially for the size and at the sale price. IF you can gete it at $6.49. I've noticed through the years prices have gone up in my region and even on sale is still $7.xx+ Havn't seen it in the $6 in several costcos in my state but was common few years ago.

Does it depend on region on pricing with all the varied responses here?

But even when not on sale, its still a good price for good product. Whoever said these are fragile and theirs broke and bought several is tripppppppin. He must have those home depot or other knock offs. These things are as sturdy as they feel. You dont have to be careful with them and can even stand literally toss/throwing them around. They would not easily crack unless you purposely try to as most accident drops/throws can be handled

The lids cracked on every single one of the I owned. More than a dozen, less than 20. Am I the only one with fracture lids?

Did you get yours at Costco or somewhere else Sam's Club and some other stores sell a much cheaper version where the lid is half as thick and you can tell by the pattern on the top of the lid. I've put 60 to 80 pounds in these and stacked them seven high and drove 1300 miles and did not have a problem in a 28 foot box truck

Thanks for comparing to the Sams one. It seems like there are 100 of these black bins with yellow lids. Are the greenmade ones specifically the best?
