Not bad, $4.99 each at Harbor Freight....I got one free at an event, puts off decent light.

Totally agree, they're great little things when the power is out. I'm sure there are better ones out there but for 10 bucks having four of these around the house is an easy buy imo

It sure is for Walmart. They have been driving hard to the hoop lately with flashlight deals through Walmart +

I have the same ones for HF, they work pretty decent. Not sure about the Amazon ones, but reviews are also decent. I'd prefer HF for returns since it's nearby.

Anyone know the runtime? Are there more than one brightness setting?

It's a glitch, you have to click the arrow to the right of the promo code box and it works.

Edit: at least I think it's a glitch or Amazon is testing how to make promo codes more difficult

based on the pictures, these are 30 hour runtime, and either 250 lumens (based on the description) or 350 lumens (based on the text in one of the pictures).

There are more expensive options with different modes, large rechargeable batteries, and tunable color temperature such as Sofirn BLT LT1 (https://www.sofirnlight.com/colle...le-lantern) but those will be way more expensive (currently $54).

These $3 ones are great in that they still put out a useful amount of light and you don't need to worry about them getting banged up.

I had a collapsable lantern similar to this, but my only complaint was that the LEDs were kinda harsh. Anyone know if the light on these is more diffused?

Yeah that arrow thing is easy to miss.

These are great little lamps. We use them in our vacation rentals. Power goes out or kids need a lamp to get to the bathroom. Work perfect.

We lose maybe 2 a year to guests taking them home so it is good to have a few extra.

In my humble opinion these little lamps are for a when needed basis. When the power goes out for a extended amount of time or when you need light now you can't charge your rechargeable lamp .
For examples a hurricane. Plus built in rechargeable batteries have a limited lifecycle.
