Those pork shoulder butts are tremendous. No bone, but plenty of fats to not dry out on the long smokes. I was hesitant at first, but thats all I use for pulled pork anymore

Any thoughts on that 32" LG monitor? Thinking of upgrading my WFH setup from a 24" for basic multitasking (no gaming/photo/video stuff).
I have had it for 3 months in my WFH office replacing 27", and found it adequate. Note it only has two HDMI ports.

I have Type II and I can eat one without it raising my blood sugar that much. When I make mine I add a little cream cheese. Another thing I like that Costco sells is Kevin's Mash Cauliflower. You would almost think it was mashed potatoes. I make some low carb gravy to put on them.

4 Tbsp Salted Butter
2 Cups Bone Broth
1/4 Tsp Onion Powder
1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
3/4 Tsp Xanthan gum

If you want it to be even better. Use the juice/grease that collects at the bottom of a Costco roasted chicken container when it's still hot.
That sounds great!! Will give this a try!

Thank you again!! Smilie

Thanks! Out of curiosity, why would that be a drawback?

I went ahead and grabbed one. There's a Micro Center where I live and you can't even get a good 27" monitor there for less than $249 right now so a 32" for $199 would be a steal.

I'd like to know the regular warehouse price/lb too.
It was $1.99/lb at my Costco today. The pork at Costco is good, but most were around $30 before the discount.

Thanks for the info. One review says it loses its settings when power is reset; do you have such experience? It's a problem if true, but I doubt it.
We had a scheduled power outage last week and there was no need to set it again.

Some people may need to connect via DVI or VGA; it's not a drawback for you as long as you do not need them. Cutting these saves a few bucks for LG, and making it cheaper, I guess.

Size is not the only spec for monitor though. Some people want higher resolution, i.e., 4K while some want higher refresh freq for better game play. Neither applies to you or me, so it's a good deal.

I used to buy the pork butts all the time as they were usually $1.49/lb or under, but they went up to $1.99/lb maybe a year ago and it's not really a deal anymore. From others here looks like the $1.99 is pretty consistent nationally. I switched back to Sams this month and was glad to see them at $1.53/lb. Agree with everyone else that they do really well on the smoker.

Can anyone comment on the Tempur Serenity? I'm a side sleeper and wake up with numbness every morning. Worth $160?
My adult kids love them, have bought several.

Not really this is pretty normal pricing. This model came out in Late 2020. A refresh is expected end of this year. If you really need a laptop and are on a budget go for it.

I got mine for $749 at BB about 8 months ago. $849 isn't a bad price but I think at xmas it was $799. Looks like BB's current price is $1000. It should be fine unless you're doing heavy video editing, etc.

I've owned windows, Chromebooks, and apple laptops and I would say this M1 MacBook Air is the second best laptop I ever had under 1k. First place goes to Dell XPS 13 that I had for a few years now. Except this laptop would slaughter my XPS 13 (or probably most other new laptops under 1k) when it comes to power and it doesn't even have any vents or fans to make any loud noise.
Everything except bezels on this laptop just screams premium quality. Haptic feedback touchpad, excellent keyboard, great speakers, amazing screen, 14 hour battery and top quality aluminum finish. And it's dead silent while getting barely warm doing everyday tasks. Unlike my XPS 13 that has a fan going out at this point. I got it for $50 cheaper ($800) around Christmas and absolutely loved it. If you have an iPhone especially, then this laptop gets even nicer. It integrates very well with it. Messages, facetime, and even phonecalls. You don't have to reach for your phone for example when phone call comes through, you can just answer them right on your laptop. Chromebooks and android phones are slowly getting there, but are still in very early stages of integration and nowhere near what apple does with their stuff.
I'm not an apple guy btw, I mostly used to use Chromebooks for media consumption and have an Android phone. I was highly impressed by M1 MB Air. It's my second favorite laptop now and the one that gets used the most.
Given that description, why is it your second favorite, below the XPS?

Current Gen i5 cpu. Display is 300 nits so mabe not great outside, also no touch screen. Seems like a decent deal for someone to do basic web/social media and moderate business/office work.
It's an M1, not i5, M1 Airs are probably more powerful than previous gen i7 Pros.
