Here, I will do your homework for you, but you owe me a coffee.
https://www.costco.com/concierge-...ranty.html

Buy a TV, computer, major appliance or water heater and Costco extends the warranty coverage to 2 YEARS

Purchase with your Costco Anywhere Visa® Card by Citi and extend your warranty* coverage for an additional 2 YEARS.

You need to do the math though, and show your work for credit.

specifically went to costco to check this out. only cons IMO are following: the screen wobble is intense so if you like using laptops in your lap, expect a fair amount of screen movement when typing. the touchpad is really small and feels too plasticky. this model is known for a less than stellar touchpad and that was evident in the little time i spent with it. The fan vents are pointing towards the screen which is a weird design decision. but on a good note, screen is nice, 16:10. end to end keyboard is really nice! and it's really lightweight. I/O at this price is solid too. all in all, the price is fantastic for what you get but i couldn't bite cause of the weak trackpad and screen wobble

No touch screen?
Thank God, No! A touch screen, by definition, means no anti-glare and the annoying screen reflections are a terrible price to pay for it. So, I think its actually great that this laptop is anti-glare so there's no strain on your eyes.

I only wish this was 14" rather than 13.3".

This Dell or the hp in below link for $100 more? Appreciate the suggestions...

Go to the store and compare the reflections on the HP to the lack of it on the Dell. Does than answer your question, definitively? or, do you not mind annoying reflections of office overhead lighting on your laptop (or lighting from any other source). If a laptop doesn't say anti-glare screen stay away from it, unless it is from Apple.

Why did I buy a XPS 15 for 2k. This one would have met my needs. Dell is solid. Could've saved significantly lol

Went to a Costco in NoVA. It was selling for $599. If someone finds it for $549 in Any other Costco in the northern Virginia area please share.
TMK, Costco will not pricematch between warehouses.

I bought back in November when it was 679 then got price adjustments for this sale. I love this laptop, feels solid metal and good quality, bright screen. The keyboard isn't as nice as my surface book 1 which this is replacing and I do wish it was 14 instead of 13.3 so it's very light and overall great machine.

I'm really interested in getting this laptop. I'm wondering how it can handle PS2/game cube emulation.

Of course not, but if cheaper at another warehouse in this area, I'll just return and rebuy at the cheaper location.

There are like 8 Costco's in NoVa. Which one did you go to? (Leesburg? Sterling? Chantilly? Fairfax? Springfield? And on and on …)

Need input from laptop experts. I bought the HP Aero, AMD 5800U thanksgiving deal for $710. Same screen size and resolution as this one. Im not using it as much so thinking of returning that one and keeping this. The keyboard is a bit off on the HP in terms of layout but other than that it's a solid laptop.

Questions: is the Aero a qualitatively better deal than this one for about $120 more-Build, graphics, durability, etc. ?

I bought this also late Nov from the warehouse. How did you get your price adjustment? Am wondering if I need to package it to return and ask for a price adjustment at the returns area or can it be done some other way.
