If it has an exhalation valve it is definitely not on the CDC/FDA list. It may protect the wearer, but all the virus particles can flow freely out through the valve to infect whomever you're near. So don't buy this expecting to be protecting Grandma or Grandpa when you're visiting them.

The valve makes it easier to breathe. If you have lung disease, you might not be able to use a regular n95 mask but this type with a second cloth type over it sometimes works.

This product is not advertised as protection for viruses. These are great for protection in dusty environments since the more name brand ones have become harder to find in recent years.

One of the easiest ways to spot fake kn95 and n95 masks is the straps. Around ears don't cut it. Legit ones go around head. Unless osha changed the rules.

This only applies to N95. KN95 goes around the ears.
