The price is actually really good for a 3080, lower than 'scalper' price from secondary markets.

Use caution tho... Zotac's white cards are known to discolor (just look at eBay listings for yellowed centers on the fans), and it's a... Zotac. Definitely one of the lower-tier AIBs.

MSRP has long disappeared. Even if the chip shortage is resolved somehow, and mining profits completely disappear, we are still not very likely to see a $699 3080 outside of the FE which I am sure Nvidia is not making a lot of.
