Great deal on an embossing label maker…includes 3 free tapes as well. Just picked one up to help on my "organizational" goals for '22.

I actually saw one today at the Dollar Tree but could not tell if it came with tape or not. Do you know if it does?
According to the YouTube review someone else posted, it does not come with tape. The youtuber's conclusion after getting tape and testing it way "it's not crap but it doesn't slap," 3 out of 5 stars.

I am quite tempted by this, but I after reading the comments, I see that there are some important tradeoffs. Thanks, guys.

Can anyone recommend a more modern label printer? I really want to label all the bins in my house, and potentially speed up making labels for shipping. I find using a printer to print out labels confusing and inconvenient. Ideally I would like a good version, or at least a comparison of a somewhat premium labelmaker to a budget one.

Thanks.

Depends on how serious you are in wanting one BUT I didn't think I needed a smantzy label maker either until I recently bought the Brother Touch D600 that has a color backlit screen ($129.00). I wanted it for labeling containers in my art room. Being the label fool that I am now that I am almost thru with my art room I am now eyeing everything inside my house. $129.00 includes the case and AC adaptor. I picked up a pack of 4 tapes for $48 at Costco. IF you do decide to get one, be extra sure and pull both adhesive protectors off the screen as it has a weird rainbow moire effect with them on. I already know what comments are going to be made about $180 for a label maker and a bunch of tape, but to each his own. It's what makes me happy and there just might be another label making fool out there like me. FWIW HTH

Picked up one of these when I hooked up all the coax in my house. Worth every penny, and no battery drain issues. Fired up and printed just fine months after the previous use. Looks way more professional if it's something others will see too.
