This is a nice budget tv, got it yesterday and looks better than the TCL 4 series which broke after two years. I also looked at the 70 inch samsung for 679 and the picture quality is not as good.

Are the C1 the high (but not ridiculously high) end right now for LG?

G1 is the high end but the C1 is the sweet spot!

Hmm 2 hdmi inputs. Seriously?! What the heck I struggle with 3, 4 is ideal. What do u do get a multi port with a cable switcher? Seems annoying and obnoxious

Is this worth returning the Samsung 65 that was on sale everywhere last month? TU7000? Mine is still in the box.

Idk, I bought a $20 auto switching hdmi hub which has been great. Sits behind the TV unseen. Auto switches between 4 inputs on a single TV input. Leaves the other TV inputs open.

Note that this can only do HDR10,not Dolby Vision. But of course, like all budget TVs in this range, it doesn't really get bright enough to make much difference on HDR content.
