This price is the cheapest I can find currently. Spring will be here sooner than we know. So, this seems like a good time to start taking advantage of essentials for the growing season.

PFAS forever chemicals. Not food safe. Better and cheaper organic options.

Please kindly expand on this -- I'd appreciate a list of products to evaluate

This is LAWN food. What does food safety have to do with it?

Edit: just saw the pic with a reference to vegetables. Never heard of anyone using this stuff for anything but lawns. Definitely wouldn't use it on anything edible.

Seller shipping kills the deal?

FYI. Dogs LOVE this stuff. Not necessarily poisonous but will give them an upset stomach. Also suggest putting it on a little heavier than recommended. It will not burn the lawn.

Not food safe, this comes from sewage waste. Likely contains remnants of pharmaceuticals and whatever else people flush down the toilet.
Well that's sad that it shows a pict of vegetables in one of the product examples!!! Really comes from sewage waste?? That's disgusting!!

I have been using another brand I got at Menards which is regularly around this price and has 11% rebate frequently.

It costs more, but instead of milorganite I use Purely Organic Lawn food. I remember reading about the whole milorganite being of questionable origins so I switched to PO lawn food and it has been just as good.

$14.48 here. I don't spread it on garden, but it does green up lawn and it does keep deer away. I picked up about a dozen bags on the true value $7 deal years ago. My landscape supply sells chicken manure 50lb bag, but it's over $20.https://www.landscapesupplyva.com...nish-3-4-3
and southern states has chicken manure 20 lb bag for $15, same NPK.
The purely organic fertilizer mentioned above contains no phosphorus
https://www.canr.msu.edu/uploads/...rticle.pdf
and milorganite, no potassium (but does have iron)
