.
A zip code where you found these would help. None in two states for me.

I'd take a single fatmax over two of these.

I would take that over 5 of these. From my experience these suck TBH. I think the 2 pack Dewalt was better than these in the long run but the two pack Stanley fat max for $15 beats them all IMO.
If only I didn't constantly "misplaced" mine I wouldn't have to keep a small box of them from clearances lol. It got to the point where I have to mark them so they don't "jump" to someone else toolbox🙄.

Fat max changed their blade design maybe ~2 years ago to a thinner, lesser quality. They never announced it or anything but every single tradesperson I've talked to about it agrees. I've been on a hunt ever since to find the best. Fat max isn't the clear cut winner that it used to be.

The tape measures in this deal were not tested in that video.

Here is the one that he tested: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07THCZB7K

I got these last year. Would not waste my money on them again. Locking mech is terrible on both mine. They don't retract well, have to always help them. I got them to build a pole barn. Was nice having 2 but I would not buy again.

I second this. Locking is terrible on this. I went through all the packages in the store testing locking and got the best pack. They are still sub par. Some are so bad, they can't even lock.
