I was able to pick up a Masterbuilt Gravity Series 1050 for $400 on clearance at Home Depot. YMMV. My HD had 15 left in stock. Brickseek shows clearance at my store and some others in my area.

They didn't have the 1050, but I got the 560 for $300. They also had other Masterbuilts on clearance too. I literally pulled the electric grill to the register and saw the 560 sitting there.
Going check other sites before I give up and start seasoning this unit.

Luckily i found a Traeger Century 885 for $350 new on Offerup. Dude was shady but the grill was new.
Greedy? Dude just trying to make a couple extra bucks. I doubt he is buying a new yacht or island with profit
Just as an FYI, most people prefer the smoke from charcoal over pellet.
Try smoking for 3 hours then finishing in the oven in a baking pan covered overnight then put back on smoker for like 40-60 minutes. The meat will be SO juicy but still smoked.
Also I've got a buddy who at our last bbq event was griping "man your turkey is smelling the whole place up with smoke smell". Uh yeah, I SMOKED my turkey in wood 😄
They also had (1) 560 model for $250. That one is tucked away on the top shelf outside in the garden department under the overhead cover.
