Currently there's a $60 discount for the Aufero Laser 2 when you order it directly from Ortur.
It has a similar engraving area as their better known Laser Master 2 Pro, but it's cheaper putting it somewhere between the smaller Laser 1 and the Laser Master 2 Pro.
It's available with three different laser modules:
LU2-2 = 1 to 1.6W optical power, the entry level model for $269.99
LU2-4 SF = about 5W optical power (similar to what others sell as 20W electrical power) with a short but smaller focus point for more detailed engravings for $369.99
LU2-4 LF = about 5W optical power (similar to what others sell as 20W electrical power) with a longer but bigger focus point, so it's in focus over the thickness of the material you want to cut, making cuts easier for $369.99
The deal price is the one for the LU2-2. It's sufficient to engrave wood, cardboard, paper, leather, fabrics, dark acrylic and some coated metals. Cardboard, paper and fabrics can also be cut.

the comgrow z1 laser 10w is pretty much the strongest diode printer on the market. (its easy to be confused with all the false advertising.. some lasers say 40w. 48w. 65w. etc. thats how much power they input. its optical output that matters. I haven't seen a diode go over 10w optical out yet)
there's a few good brands like ORTUR for cheap lasers, but id go with the comgrow personally. has its own wifi host server too so u can just switch ur pc to its wifi and start lasering.
1.6w for nearly 300$ pfft rip off
