Completely disagree. I have both, and with any protein that mixes well either is fine. When I buy a protein that doesn't mix well (I usually buy whatever is on Slickdeals so I have random brands at any given time), the metal ball does a much better job. It's not even close

They do. Sams club used to sell them actually. I believe you can still get them on Amazon.

I would get something vacuum sealed or double-walled, single layer steel shaker bottles get COLD on the exterior if you throw ice in there while shaking

We've had one of these for about a year and love it. Got it to mix protein shakes for my athletic martial arts daughter that is at the gym all the time (great for at home and grab-and-go) but found it's also great for mixing up small batches of other stuff like scrambled eggs, pancake batter, etc.

Much faster and easier to clean than a blender, but the mixing ball really works well. Highly recommend.
