I saw the recent post from RaGe420 for the Amazon Oculus Quest 2 (Renewed) deal on Slickdeals and that sold out for $249 (Renewed, not Brand New, Oculus Quest 2, Case, 3rd party strap, with NO battery for the strap/extended game play time). And since it's sold out, thought I'd share this bundle deal with the SD community, as I know some prefer Brand New versus Renewed. UPDATE: The Amazon deal turned out to good to be true. Amazon changed the description on their site, after the fact (switch and bait?). Basically it didn't come with the strap, case, or whatever else they said it would come with. It just came with 'Renewed' 128gb Oculus Quest 2, nothing else. See that thread for comments by users that received them.)

So if you want a 'New' set and not a Renewed, and one that's in stock, thought I'd share this deal on SD's. At the time of this post, in stock and shipping.
  • Quest 2 128GB Bundle includes VR headset, controllers, batteries, power cord, and adapter
  • 6GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2
  • 1832 x 1920px resolution per eye
  • Oculus Insight inside-out tracking
  • Integrated positional audio
  • 128GB of internal storage
  • Comfortable to wear with glasses or RX inserts
  • Supports seated, standing, and room-scale usage modes

Alternatively for Costco members or if you want to future proof a bit: Oculus Quest 2 All-In-One VR Headset - 256 GB with Quest 2 Carrying Case for $399.99
  • Basically you get the free case for that price, as the 256gb version is $399.99 everywhere.
  • Available for shipping or in-store (If you get it shipped, add 9.99, so look for it in-store. Was over 30 available at my local Costco)
  • Costco's warranty
  • Some have said this is normal price for Costco, but adding here, just in case you want the 256gb version with Free Carrying case

decent deal.

$250 for the 128gb headset and $110 for the case and elite strap+battery seem like sale prices.

FYI Costco has the 256GB version in-store and online for $399. No elite strap but wondering if the extra storage makes that a worthy deal?

Elite strap is a trash. I bought the same deal from Sams club. Now have to buy BOBOVR strap because elite is not comfortable on my head.

You can move games to a USB-C flash drive and the largest games aren't more than 10GB (most are under 2GB), so I'd say the difference between 128GB and 256GB isn't too significant.

However, the 128GB version is the refresh and is guaranteed to have the faster updated memory.

It's not just $20, as you'd have to buy the accessories separately.

Double the storage is better than a carrying case. Plus I heard the reviews on the case is trash.

The biggest difference is if you want playback of VR videos. They can get big quick.

That's arguable given how small most games are.

How about y'all stop arguing about the case? Both the Sam's and Costco deals come with the case... The elite head strap is the difference deal maker here. Whether or not that is worth it for half the storage is up to you is your own homework. Goodluck.

I'm not arguing about the case. More storage is virtually meaningless after 128.

I'm afraid I'll get motion sickness, need to disable this alert. laugh out loud

Been this price since at least December. Got mine before Christmas. Had no problems with my case yet or the head strap. Haven't used it every day either. Don't forget that this one has the battery on the strap that gives you extra play time without having to stop and charge it. That has been a plus for me. Storage has been no problem. Also if you have a Mastercard, you can go through their website and get cash back. Can't remember the percentage.
