No one cares about the OLED after they see the projector.

This is a ultra short throw projector which projects an image from 18 inches from the screen. Additionally since the projector is so close to the screen, the 3,000 lumens will seem brighter then a 3000 lumen standard projector.
This are very different projectors and not likely to be crossed shop. Additiinally, Anker is not a high quility manufacturer so even if they were similar products, this would be an unfair comparison.
Agreed! I absolutely love my 5050ub. The big thing missed here is that this Optima X2 projector uses a RGBRGB Color Wheel, which is inferior to Epson's full 3-chip optical engine. However, it is a great price for this Ultra-Short Throw Laser Projector. And probably an easier setup.
This seems the same with a 120in Screen. Limited info on screen though

I want good blacks because literally every movie and TV show has a lot of dark scenes.
How close are you sitting? I have a 5050ub/135" in dedicated basement HT and the 77 oled in the living room. We enjoy both. We sit probably 12' from the oled and it's above a fire place and that gets the most overall viewing time. The image is gorgeous. The 5050 is really good, but PQ is significantly different between the two.

Get a rear projector if you have a basement. UST doesn't do blacks well and lacks shadow detail.
UST is better suited with an ALR screen in a room that has moderate light. It can serve as a TV replacement especially for sports during day
Better off getting something like Epson 5050 and a decent screen if use is in blacked out basement. You'll get much better blacks
It's a must have if you operate it in an environment with moderate ambient light like during the day. At night with lights off, less of a necessity.
A firmware upgrade (depending on manufacturer) will add DTM to 2.1
This is a big deal
Iam now thinking if I should have just bought the samsung LSP7T deal for 1999. (I left it cause it was single laser)
