I have this mower. Used it from the beginning of August through the end of the mowing season. I have no real complaints. Ideally, for my lot, I would get a riding mower, but I have some obstacles that make that problematic and I didn't want to give up the garage space. So, a wider mower to cut down the mow time. OK, I looked at a Toro Timemaster, which is 30" wide and similar to this electric mower, features 2 side by side blades. But the Toro gets mixed reviews and most happy users modify it right out of the box to address all the known issues. Plus, it's gas, which I wanted to ditch.

This one gives you a larger cutting width than the usual 20-21" models. It's quiet. Push button start. Headlight that turns on automagically in the dark. Battery life is not an issue. Will run for a long time on just 1 fully charged 4Ah battery and then you can just swap them if you need to. I never needed more than 1 battery.

I got the blower and some other tools that use the same battery. This might be a con: The chargers have a very loud fan. It does seem to continue to run long after the battery has fully charged. Sometimes... So, a little quirky.

But... way better than my old gas mower. As powerful? No. Picks up leaves and debris like my old gas mower? No. but those are minor in comparison to the pleasant experience this mower provides. And I feel no guilt when my wife decides to cut the grass when I'm away. Easy to use. No fuel issues. Self-propelled. Simple.

Thanks OP, Coupon works for me, but the reviews are very mixed, not sold on Amazon tells me might be a discontinued product line, can't make myself pull the trigger...

They always seem like, for years now, that they are clearing out one of the lines. Never ends up happening though. FWIW 60v is their biggest line, I don't think it's going anywhere. Seems they just recently signed up with Home Depot to supplant Ego, so I think Lowe's and HD just swapped vendors. 🤷 ♂️

I was eyeballing the 21" at HD for $479. Now I'm wondering about 4 extra inches.

I'm glad I jumped on the Greenworks bandwagon before they exploded. I bought the 60v 21in self propelled for $180 on sale a few years back at Home Depot. Haven't seen it below $400 ever since.

I have this exact model. This is a good deal. I used it this past year and it worked well for me. I have about a half acre and it would probably take me about 1.5-2 hours total. You could possibly cut the entire half acre on the two batteries but it might be a stretch.

It took a little bit of time before I figured out all the nuances but I really like it. The best part is that you don't reek of gas when you're done!

In for 1. We are having a pool put in so the backyard will be down to maybe 5k sq ft of grass left and the front is ~4700. My landscaper charges a flat fee and I don't feel like paying so much for something that will take me 25 mins with this mower.

If it was still under warranty, why did you need an extended warranty?
