I think that's a different deal. This is the 887 kit with a free tool. The other deal is the two 5 ah battery starter kit

Right or left handed people, blade right or blade left saws, there are advantages and disadvantages either way depending on how you use your saw. Including:

Sight lines (though cut-outs in blade guards are getting much better)
Where the chips/sawdust fly (somewhat negated if the saw has dust collection)
How you set up and hold your cuts (which side is the cut-off)
Where your hands and body are in relation to the blade
What you are accustomed to using

Some people have very strong feelings about which is best, but it is ultimately up to the individual user to choose which attributes are most important to them.

Also has option for the DCS565 circular saw instead of the wrench. That's the best standard right handed (left side blade) circular they offer. Great deal!

I'm just one right-handed guy with an opinion, but I love that saw. Even with a big 6Ah battery installed, it's very light. For as light as it is, it does really well with anything I need it for. Oh, and a Diablo blade is a must.

If anyone received the 30% off ($15 max) Discover deal on Amazon, it works for me as this is sold and shipped by Amazon.
Also, appears to be hackable as they ship separately and are priced as such. Couldn't find the 1/2" impact less than $115 by itself on eBay so this is a win to get for $87 and return or sell the rest.

I struggle with the many versions of these, so the impact wrench not being XR is actually a bad thing? For some reason I associated XR with not good, but I think I was confusing it with Atomic.

There is a springy ring on the tip of the anvil to hold the socket on. The "pin" version would be the ball bearing and spring retention style you find on a standard ratchet. I prefer the hog rings in an impact wrench.
