If this were $150 for a 2 TB MX 500, it would be a slick deal. The BX 500 doesn't have DRAM if memory serves me.

I have a 1 TB MX 500 for over 5 years that works great.

There are slicker deals, IMHO.

This is dramless. It doesn't control what sectors it rights to to maximize longevity of the unit. I guess not as big of a deal of you aren't using it as a boot drive and fill it with games you'll play but $25 more for piece of mind and a main drive is solid

Ahhhh. I have the 244gb version of the bx500 and it has been great for storage of music files as a secondary drive. I originally installed it as the main drive of an old laptop, but that laptop crapped out 6 months later. This looks tempting, but I wish it were the mx500 at this price.
