These are great prices, I have a 7.2.6 (Ebony) setup in my theater/gaming room and was looking to upgrade my family room with the 8000F (walnut), but at this price I'll just replace my walnut 450c with the 504c.
Can you please advise what speakers you got from Klipsch to get to this config(7.2.6). And how do you like them.

I got my 280F for $300 each on a Black Friday deal from frys electronics years ago. Got the 250s for $222 each. Missed the center and ending up paying about $450 for the 450C.

Is KEF 950q going to be much much better than RP 8000f? Currently own Klipsch F3 and looking to upgrade.

I think for music most would find the KEF superior, but the Klipsch shines in HT applications. So depends on your main use/priority.

Picked up the 504c with all the amazon gift card balances I had overflowing from Christmas. I'm so anxious to see how it performs compared to 52c. Thanks.

Last year they had a half off MSRP sale around May timeframe, don't recollect if it was they Adorama or another retailer. They might have a similar one this year. I purchased a Reference Premier 8000F in a 5.2, waiting for a half off sale to add more speakers and upgrade to a 9.2 or higher setup. For subs SVS subs are really nice. I checked a PB4000 at a local store and they are simply beautiful. Thunderous bass. Check it out once and you will be sold. I can't imagine how the PB16 Ultras might be. I will get the SVS subs one day, and replace the Klipsch subs.

True. I'm going to wait out as this is not the best prices even if you compare 8000's with previous adorama package. I need to get a whole set. I already have AVR and 2 klipsch wireless subs purchased from Costco. Just waiting on deal for 8060fa package.

"Much much better" is subjective.
Having heard both IMO the 950's are in a different category.
The bigger question then becomes is the difference worth the price.

If you could get them at this price it's a no brainer IMO.

iMO the 950's are bright but smooth, are not fatiguing and the bass is not as loose(tighter). This make the sound more articulate and detailed.

I purchased the rp 8000f in ebony paired it with the 504c and a pair of rp 500 for surround I think I only paid $1600 for the whole package. I upgraded from 10 year old Polk monitor 70 fronts w/Polk sc2 and the sound difference was night and day! Klipsch is good for the price!

butting in here with my two cents for what it's worth.

I have a 5.2.4 Klipsch setup
Rp-8000
Rp-600
Rp-504c
Rp-500sa
Bic America H100i subs

I love it!!! Came from a Sony core setup. The biggest difference was after I did level equalization with a sound meter after running calibration for the room corrections. Now it is incredible. Looking to add the 502s to finalize into a 7.2.4 setup.

Do you have a bigger bestbuy or one with a magnolia center? Only asking cause my local Bestbuy doesn't carry these as they are the top line of the RP series but a mag store would for sure with the full demo room.

Finally! After missing out on the $399 deal for the 8000f in ebony last year I've been waiting for another deal. It's $100 more but at least it's the piano black one which has a higher MSRP.
