Just got an email that DoorDash has extended the chase sapphire free membership till December 31st 2024

I just got off the phone with Chase customer support. I am one of the many who canceled their dash pass account ahead of time in fear of being charged. All you have to do is re-enroll via the app and it will say that your dash pass is still valid through the end of today. It will be a day or so for that to automatically update to say that your account is valid until December 31, 2024. There are no additional steps you need to do, Just re-enroll

It's kind of a wash with DoorDash charging so much in fees, I can use postmates to pick up office orders and it still be cheaper than Dashpass.

Wish they extended Lyft Pink. I started it in February 2020 and used it once and just used it last week, didn't realize it expired lol.

I can't believe so many people use these services so often. The only time it's worth it is when you have a 50% of coupon, then you save about 5% after item markup, service fee, delivery fee, tip, whatever else the can bleed you for.. and then you get to eat cold food that's likely incorrectly made from what you ordered. Free dash pass helps a bit though, with a 50% of coupon you can get bread 10% off! Hopefully they extend me too, still says 3/1/22 expiration on my account.

Yes. Search 'door dash chase freedom' here but essentially you have to cancel the previous dd sub then remove card from desktop page as app doesn't allow removal. The freedom code is FreedomDP25. Tht still works fine tho I just tried to double dip with 2nd freedom card & no dice. However, removing Chase Freedom just now & adding CSP immediately prompted 1yr free sub activation & Sapphire code works. I will use it then maybe go back to (2nd) CF and try to get a 3rd wack at it. There's no minimum spend.

Hype train growth looks bad for the DD if they lose Chase members en masse.

A customer of mine with a medium size restaurant does around $25k a week with DD. It's a seafood boil place, so it's already expensive to begin with, but people are so lazy, they'll pay the markup on top of regular menu prices.

I am very confused, I just activated my CSP benefit like 2 weeks ago so my doordash membership shows good until January 2023. Shall I cancel and re-activate to get 2 years or would it update itself?

My DashPass through my CSP still says it expires today. No indication of any extension. I enrolled in February 2020. Will cancel for now.

The original DoorDash DashPass was actually set to expire tonight (01/31/2022). However, DoorDash DashPass subscriptions for Chase Sapphire cardholders apparently were extended through 2024! Check your emails for confirmation.
