Recommended resolution for printing is 300ppi. So that means to get max detail out of a 11"x14" poster, your original file should be 3300x4200. Any lower than that and they will do some kind of upscaling. Depending on what algorithm they use for scaling, it can end up looking like crap. Try to dial in the original image as close as possible.
If you want to print a really high resolution file, you will need to go to the store with the files on a USB drive and then use their kiosk. The web interface has a file size limit that I've hit up against in a few cases. Note that the kiosk has different coupon codes than the website/app.
When using the website, Walgreen's backend will convert all the images you upload into JPEG format if they are not JPEG already. The conversion process can compress out a lot of detail compared to the original, so try to upload files in JPEG format originally so they don't end up converting it again.
