I believe there's actually a diminishing return after 20w so not a big deal. If you want anything faster than that, you'd want certain features like PPS, Qualcomm QuickCharge, etc. (as far as most phones go, anyway)

For example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRkl3iZ_YzE
tl;dw - for iphone 15, 30w took 2h11m; 20w took 2h21m (just 10 more mins) to go from 0% to 100%.

And honestly, 20w would be fine, but the point of these chargers is to be able to charge two at a time.. but if you plug both in, it becomes 7.5w + 7.5w.. hardly the advertised speed, even when combined.

Less of a problem if you usually charge one at a time. Also, including USB C cables is a nice touch.
I guess fast is relative? By now 20w is the standard charging speed.
This is true for iPhones. If you compared to an iPad Pro the there would be a considerable difference with the 30W charger as iPhone 15 barely charges over 20W. I have the pro max and I believe it tops out at like 28W but in reality it barely gets anywhere near that for most of the charging cycle usually hovers 22W-24W then once it gets to 80% it trickle charges. For iPhone 15 pro max I wouldn't go below a 30W charger.

A bit slow, I'd say 30W chargers are the bare minimum you need these days.

Now that's good info. 20W will get you rapid charging single port.

Slow charging is better for battery life. If you plug it in overnight and have a decent phone, battery life lasts throughout the day. Even to top off this would be fine. Of course this is only if you don't use your phone constantly and drain it by noon Smilie

Well, that's only if you like your batteries.

If you LOVE your batteries charge no more than 80%, don't discharge below 10%, and never charge your battery if the ambient temperature is above 85f.

The reality is that batteries are very good in phones today. All of the above will provide modest improvements to battery life over a long term phone life of 5 years or more. If you are someone who will change phones in 2 or 3 years don't second guess the manufacturers and feel safe charging for full performance.

Regarding fast charging, temp is the real stressor on the batteries. When you fast charge let the phone breath in a cool place, ideally not under a blanket in the sun LOL

Yes, if you have a good battery. That's the key. I don't. I have an iPhone 8. How pathetic. I can nearly double the version. I have to charge up multiple times a day so I'm never too far from my charger. I'm probably better off saving the money from buying a new charger and putting it toward a new phone.
