I've not seen any uptick in spam calls since I got the deal last October. Just giving a data point.
I got it last time and love it. I added the Creality Ender CR Touch Auto Bed Leveling Sensor Kit that frequently has a lightning deal for $33 at Amazon.
Got it last time. Great deal

Here is the link to the printer. You can check if they are in stock at your store. I've seen the stock number on the website to be pretty accurate.
However these printers do sell out pretty quickly once word gets out. If your store does go out of stock, you can set up a monitor to get an alert when it gets back in stock. I've used a website like UptimeRobot to do this. Microsoft does not have stock alerts on their website. Let me know if you need help setting up the alert.
This is a heck of a deal. I jumped on this deal a while back. If you're already a Microcenter customer, just get a junk email and google voice (or whatever) phone number to use, and voila.
Did you buy any upgrades or accessories for the printer?

There was a problem with your Captcha response.
I presume its because I'm trying to use a GV phone #.
That's OK anyhow, I probably don't need to go down this rabbit hole. I have enough stuff to keep me busy.
I was interested in printing occasional fixture, brackets, hardware etc but that's maybe a twice a year need.

I'd say no, not worth the extra money. The V2 differences probably won't affect you in anyway, especially if this is your first printer
