Meh, it's an okay deal. Honestly you would be better off waiting on a refurb deal for a G-Series. Higher Amperage, more horse power, cutting blades are larger, more "heavy duty". The refurb prices are typically $200-$250, making it a better deal as new G-series are $570, Explorian series sell for $280 new.

Edit: there is conflicting info from their website regarding the horsepower it looks like the two models have equal hp according to the model specific spec sheet.

It's strange how it makes more sense to buy a whole new (refurb) blender if you're in need of the jar.

Is it loud? I need a quiet blender for apt living. My current blender is loud enough for the neighbors to hear through the wall.

I got this to replace a Ninja blender and it's a lot quieter than that.

depends do u need power or quietness. Out for all blenders I see more powerful ones like vitamix are more noisy regardless of damping.

I have one, it can get pretty loud depending on what you are blending and how high you set it, I usually keep it under no. 5. The counter at my apartment shakes due to the vibration 😆

I have this blender. It is very loud, especially on the higher settings you would use to crush ice etc.

It's loud. Live in apt building and use it sparingly, excellent in blending power. Make fresh almond milk in morning and cocktails at night..

I wake up at like 6am to make a breakfast smoothie for work. Then when I have one for dinner it's like 10-11pm. One weekend it can be 1am. I keep strange hours.

Trying to do some research… are you referring to the 7500 as the G-Series model that has been from $200-$250 refurb?

Great find. Thanks.

I wish he would compare other blender brands as well.
