Yeah I never got the Amex $25 credit. And I had to reach out to Sam's club customer service to get the gift card as it never arrived after 30+ days. Customer service did get it for me though.

If you're planning to do this just bc it could theoretically be a money maker, I'd advise against it. If you actually want to shop at Sam's then go for it. Just put a reminder on your calendar to start bugging customer service. And save your emails and take some screen shots of the offer.

FYI: I signed up for Sams on Feb. 4th and received the $45 e-gift email on March 23, 2022. So it took over 6 weeks to arrive, not the 4weeks stated in the fine print.

My Amex credit came in the first week. I did not have to contact customer service and I did not make a purchase yet.

another data point, signed up for this in February, hadn't received the gift card and used website chat w/sams two days ago. agent said she'd pass it on to 'the back office' and I received an email from them a day later asking for a screen shot referencing the deal.

thanks to you, slick deals, I had one ready to go. got the egift card via email a few hours later. well worth a few extra minutes work, and we've already upgraded to a plus membership, which is well worth it for shipping and early shopping, imho.
