totally legit - it's All-Clad's warehouse selling open boxes and slightly blemished items. I've purchased from them many times.

This question comes up every few months when they have a seconds sale, so I created this All-Clad Pots & Pans discussion here on SD as a sort of FAQ.
I hope it helps.

And FWIW the selection at the moment on D3 open stock looks outstanding compared to some recent factory sales. Add the coupon per the OP and there are some all time low prices. This is a good time to buy.

I see they have the 3 quart steamer inserts for $29.95 (with a handle [homeandcooksales.com] or without a handle with a Breast Cancer Foundation engraving [homeandcooksales.com]. I know my own advice says to skip the All-Clad gadgets, but this is an exception, and it doesn't appear on the factory sale very often. It's a fantastic addition to the 3 quart sauce pan. I use this item nearly every day. Highly recommended.

Bought three things previously. Two were great, one was so bent out of shape and wouldn't "seal" with the lid - they refused to replace or refund it.

I was at their seconds sale in Washington PA a year or two before Covid, and it was shocking how many of the pots/pans had rims that were out-of-round. When I asked the employees there, I was told that they considered those defects "acceptable to be sold as seconds."

Whats the difference between the regular 3 qt pan and the d3 version? I thought there was a D3 and a D5, etc. only.

Bought a few and some had small dents/scratches but you'd have to really look at the pan lol.

Some stating the lid didn't fit and they didn't want to replace it O.o, I'd be kinda mad about that.

I'm going to buy these All Clad 2nds, but might by all clad 1sts in future.

Anyone know the difference between the 5 layer stainless steel 12-inch (all steel, no aluminum, no lid) and the 3 layer (steel/aluminum/steel with lid) 12-inch frying pan? 5 layers sounds fancy, but all layers are steel. Don't get it. steel doesn't conduct evenly, thats why there is usually an aluminum (or copper) core. 5 layers of steel sounds like a bad thing.

To me that's fraud. I would dispute with my credit card.

Thanks. I was going to pull the trigger on one of the pricier pans, but that isn't acceptable.

I'll do All Clad 2nds if I can see the pan first, or I'll do All Clad 2nds if I can return it.
I will not do All Clad 2nds if I can't see them first and can't return it. That's just shady.

I have enough trouble with businesses now-a-days
Example
This really happened to me:
Ordered subway online. Went to pick it up. They were closed, but someone was in there still. I asked them to come to door to take my info to clear this up. She just kept saying "It's not my fault" and wouldn't take my info. I tried to call for next 4 days (patience game), no one picks up (they don't pick up for anyone). Collected all evidence and screenshots sent to paypal(I paid with paypal). Paypal robo email said business had 7 (or 10) days to respond. Time was up, and paypal sent email saying it wasn't covered in abstract 'say nothing' wording. Just wtf. I gave up.

That happened to me 6 months ago, but is one thing that always grinds my gears when I remember it.
Not sure I really follow the story. You ordered food from Subway? Couldn't you go back the next day?

Also, did you follow up with a call to PayPal? How about opening a dispute on your credit card?
