Has anyone here actually received a free Sim card in the mail from boost mobile when taking advantage of this offer?

You should update the post that BYOD SIM cards costs 9.99 as per the email they sent out to someone I referred to this deal and was approved.

Boost customer service here on SD is MIA, I sent a PM several days ago. When my friend calls Bosst and spoke with CS, they had no clue about a free SIM and wanted to sell him one.

Hi freshsqueezed,

I am sorry that I had a delayed response to your DM over the weekend.

As stated In my message there, we are working to understand why your friend has not received their SIM card. Once I receive more information on why this has occurred, I will send you an update. Thanks for your patience here.

Hi ThriftyDirt8296,

You won't need to do anything to receive your free SIM card. Once you become eligible, Boost Mobile will send you a SIM card to the address you gave on your national verifier form.
I've been receiving emails that I've received my SIM card and to activate it before my approval expires, but I haven't received a SIM card in the mail since signing up. Not sure who to contact about this?

Best I know he can receive both but they're gonna split his plan and one of the carriers is gonna want you to pay the difference! If I were you I would look to get him a free phone with assurance wireless this plan comes nowhere close to what assurance cannot offer!! If you look many pages back at my post , the nice boost customer service Iris rap or person mimic in them Will not come on my post and tell you all about what they offer because they know they cannot beat them and then the fact the fact that CS is telling you all that you get a free SIM card that hasn't magically appeared at your residence yet shows that they are full of it and they don't keep their promises promises so if you want a company like that you might wanna boast Rather boost yourself to it haha as amazing point . These people wanted wanted good marketing strategy they would hire me already I told him I was available to be hired but they will not do so yet wonder why that is? . These people wanted wanted good marketing strategy they would hire me already I told him I was available to be hired but they will not do so yet wonder why that is? Here I am getting people the best information they need to hear they're here and if they would only give me a hire I would bet elitas help them Is to be able to get more customers!

Isn't it better to use the ACP credit for $30 off home internet/broadband? Most providers will have a totally free internet with this discount.

Hi BenedictDonald,

On top of all of our other offerings on the phone plan, we also offer a discount for a Boost Mobile phone. This is great for those who don't have an available unlocked device to activate on the Boost Mobile Network.

The exact wording from the ACP site is: "one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price."
It doesn't actually mention phones; is the phone discount a Boost-specific deal, or does it apply to all providers?
Also, some providers mention additional taxes and fees in the fine print. I'd like more info about that.
Thanks.

Yes I read the same as you, but there are providers who offer discounts or even a free phone. Boost website shows one discounted phone for ACP recipients. I think it's a cheap Galaxy A02 for $25. The A02 is not a 5g device, and I know someone who bought two of those phones for their children and said they were horrible.

Hi ThriftyDirt8296,

Please DM me your enrollment number and name used to sign up. I will send this to my team and see what we can do to track down this SIM card!

What about the SIM card which I sent you a message about on 2/9 ?? Eight days and nobody at Boost Mobile can figure it out or overnight a new SIM at least?!

Not sure why anyone would even consider Boost Mobile at this point. Smh

Okay so here we go...

I signed up for this service for a family member. I have been approved and know so because I received an email stating..

"Next steps:
Step 1:In order to purchase your new device, go to boostmobile.com.
Step 2: Select and purchase your device.
Step 3: Once you receive your device, on your computer or another mobile device connected to Wi-Fi, go to boostmobile.com/activate and follow the on-screen instructions to activate your phone. When requested, use the Promo Code XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX and then select the ACP phone plan of your choice.
Step 4: Then, go to My Benefit Status. Sign in using the Enrollment number included in this email and the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number. You can also sign in with your date of birth, your zip code and the last 4 digits of your SSN. You can also sign in with your date of birth, your zip code and the last 4 digits of your SSN.
Step 5: In the Service activation section, confirm the activation of your benefit as instructed."

Nothing about this email states I will receive a free or discounted phone. Nothing about a sim being sent out. Literally this is the only email I have received. Am I missing something?

Apparently Boost Mobile doesn't even know what to do. I've been waiting for 10 days now and still no SIM and no answers. There are many other providers, some even give you a free phone and unlimited data. Safelink wireless is one of them, and you can choose between Verizon or AT&T with them. Walmart also has a free 5GB plan on AT&T prepaid in-store with discounted phones such as Samsung Galaxy A03 for $29 or Moto G Pure for $19. See link below.

I've been doing some searching regarding free phones and the $100 discount.
I don't think anyone - including Boost - is just giving $100 off their regular devices.
I did find a few providers offering specific devices for $10.01, plus tax, maybe.

Cintex: free used older high-end phone, $10.01 new Alcatel JOYTAB tablet
Easy wireless: free phone (w/lifeline?), $10.01 tablet
Qlink: $10.01 tablet

Can we get a simple just yes or no answer. If you are getting the emergency broad band can you also get the phone or just one or the other?
