Even with the Red Card, I think this only works out to a 10% discount overall. Better than nothing I suppose but no better than Costco.

Depends on the card. I don't think Costco sells Steam cards.
With the Steam Deck releasing this month, it's definitely not a bad idea buy like $400-$700 worth of Steam credit for a ~12% discount.

Yes u can as long as u buy it direct from steam the funds will go out of your gift card first and any remaining balance will go out from you cc

I bought a index at launch and used steam wallet funds to partially pay. Reddit's r/steamdeck has contacted support to verify that you can use to pay for it as well (wallet balance caps at $2000usd)

Yeah I was thinking of doing 2 $50 cards for the same thing. Don't seem to be many steam GC deals so $93 for $100 is better than nothing

Good reminder. Forgot I even preorder the Deck. Do they remind you before you pay for it? I may not keep it. Hardly have time to play PS5.

I wish that they have deals for Fortnite gift cards because even when they do have it for video game gc they exclude for fortnite gc's.
