Use in corded and cordless impact and drill drivers

Not for use in an SDS type hammer drill.

Good deal if you have the right driver Smilie

FYI you need a pretty solid Hammer Drill for this. My brushless Ryobi struggles with 3/8", so trying to drill a deep hole with a 1/2" bit would be abysmal. May not be an issue if you have corded or a chuck adapter for your rotary hammer, but just wanted to note it so 12 or 18 volt users knew what to expect.

I bought a few of the 6in... also the multi material bits.

(The harbor freight bits are useless for thicker metal.)

Depends on the medium - if you're drilling a 1/2" hole through 3 layer 1920's brick, you're going to have a bad time, and you'd better get a SDS.

I'm not a fan of using hammer drills on cores of this length; the SDS is far and away a better choice of tool - but this item is cheaper than any shorter 1/2" hammer drill bit, so go wild.

Huh, I see $15.97. What ZIP code are those using to see the $3.91 price?
