Westerndigital.com [westerndigital.com] is offering what I think is the best yet deal on ANY high performance and high reliability 16TB drive not only because the price is decent, but because you don't have to deal with the 5 years warranty issues when buying the non GOLD labels of this drive thru Amazon, Newegg etc 3rd party sellers (talking about the OEM versions of these drives).

Not buying so don't know if this works here, but it's handy to know about.
On the subject of these drives though, at 7200rpm enterprise drives they're probably somewhat loud, and reviews seem to confirm that. They're intended to be in racks in a server farm where you won't hear them over the din of fans running. If you're buying these for a NAS, I'd only do that if your NAS is somewhere you can't hear it.

Update:
When I bought the drives yesterday morning, I used Honey for first time. It said 1%-12% (unclear) so I didn't post this info in the OP. This morning I got email confirming 12% cash back ($65). Honey is owned by PayPal so the 12% PayPal reward might be the same thing.

A 16TB is about $280 - $290, so you have to buy 2 to "save" $20........
unless this is a CMR (but WD just never tell you, they always try to hide if their HDD is CMR or SMR)

The chart on this page - also Anandtech [anandtech.com] for the 20TB equivalents pretty much says it all.
And yeah, these aren't just NAS drives. These are high end datacenter drives.
Keep in mind, a lot of "deals" only make sense if you value your time (and in this case data) at $0.
If I knew about this, or even about those coupons I would have been happier.
