i have the 2-usb port version of this switch, using it for Logitech universal receiver to share mouse/keyboard between a laptop & PC. Biggest issue is "lost clicks/keystrokes". Many times, when typing something, some keystrokes are not showing on screen, don't have this issue if i connect the universal receiver directly to pc / laptop.

Interesting. I use the 2 port version for a wired mechanical keyboard and never have that issue. Wonder if it has to do with the wireless?

I need one of these, but reviews aren't great. Anyone actually have one of these?

I am using this for past 2 years. Occasionally switching between non-active device to active device may not recognize/switch properly. I will use the manual again to fix it.
I have not had any issues other than the above. I had used logitech keyboard with this and I am using iClever KB no issues between them.

I've had 4 different kinds of these -- keep in mind they can be a bit finnicky. Works best to keyboards/mice/printers, but if you need constant throughput like a DAC or webcam, they can be hit and miss.

Similar idea to the 3-to-1 HDMI switch I just bought, which always makes me wonder why they have inputs on one side and outputs on the other. I want the device easily accessible, so why not make it thicker with all in/out on the same side together (aka "the back")? That would make far more sense, but maybe there a technical reason.

This layout is a recipe for clutter.
