I picked up this treadmill mid December for $850 and so far so good. I'm a beginner runner. I have really nothing to compare to. I only have about 50 miles on it. I have not used the ifit membership, only used in manual mode.
Have 599 miles on this treadmill and paid about this price 3 yrs ago with installation on amazon. Took the tech about 3 hrs to install. Not many bells and whistles, but does have a fan and speakers. I don't use ifit function, seems worthlessm Did include a heart rate monitor that I tested once and worked fine. I would recommend the treadmill for this price.
Do they deliver and/or install? Also do they offer any extended warranty (if so, is it recommended)?
I took it home myself. The box is very heavy and long, make sure to go with two people and a large car. They didn't offer me an extended warranty at Costco.

Thanks. I went to the store and computer showed one in stock so they wouldn't sell it adding it was a floor model even though there were none on the floor.
Manager said they won't sell if it only shows one in stock and more will be available in March but the $200 off $999 may not be valid then. I asked if I could buy now and wait and they said no. Glad some of you were able to get it.
I bought it today from the store. I have been told there is 1 yr warranty by Costco and I can return during that period. There were 3 available on floor at Waltham, MA location. Definitely recommend getting a bigger car and few friends to unload it.

I've had the pro 2000 treadmill (without the LCD screen, but does have the mount/clip to snap netbook/kindle/fire in place) approximately 5 years and love it! I have ~1000 miles on it and it's still going strong. Mine developed a noise upon foot strike while running, and it just about drove me nuts. I replaced bearings, bushings, added some cushioning where I thought would be useful. Turned out I had to completely remove the hydraulic lift arm which lifts the deck for more compact storage. I had unhooked it at one of the attachment points, but the noise was still there, until I completely removed it. I paid $999 at time of purchase 5 years ago. Despite the squeak caused by the hydraulic lift, I would still buy it again.

I love my Proform Carbon Series treadmill, use it all the time, especially love iFit which has much better workout tech than companies like Peleton, but the build quality is not great - problems after 1k miles include:
- Both Fans stopped working
- One of the side (shock absorbing?) pieces broke and went flying off during a run
- The volume control buttons stopped working - have to set with the touchscreen
- Bluetooth is hit and miss (often miss)
- Multiple times a month it will dump all the user accounts and reset. No data is lost because the workout information is stored online, but it is annoying to start a workout only to find you first have to login
- On occasion WiFi will fail AFTER a workout and will not work again unless the machine is restarted, in this case workout information is lost.
What I love:
- iFit workouts - generally very well done and motivating
- iFit workouts automatically adjust the elevation and speed to match workout which really adds to immersion, letting you relax and run
- You can create custom workouts based on google maps - will even add elevation
- You can make a whole workout easier are harder with the push of a button
- If you wear a heart rate monitor, you have the option of making the workout adjust intensity based on your heart rate - it's not perfect but when it works well it's awesome.
Overall I love the tech on Proform but have found the build quality really lacking - I have an extended warranty and the treadmill is only 14 months old so trying to get at least some of my issues fixed is on my to do list - I just use it so often I don't want to be without it. If I replace the treadmill I will likely try NordicTrack as it also includes iFit but it seems that Icon (who make both) market NordicTrack as a slightly better brand.
