That being said, a lot of SD'ers are penny wise and pound foolish, so you'll probably just keep the old one and brag to everyone that you got it for $35.

Edit: Haha, yeah, says as much on Best Buy's site. "Everything in the all-new Kindle Paperwhite, plus wireless charging, auto-adjusting front light, and 32 GB storage."

My reading habits haven't changed: approx an hour a night with the brightness at medium, airplane mode on and BT off.
I guess my point being, the wireless would've been nice.

Are you using Airplane mode? Do you use auto adjust lighting or keep it at higher brightness?
I read quite a bit, and I don't charge more than once a month. When wifi is on, I end up charging every week.

I got the 'low battery' warning again last night at 10% level and I couldn't even finish 50 pages without having to plug in.
I'm going to keep close track of my usage and charging intervals and I'll probably exchange it. I may have gotten a dud.
The ad free versions cost a bit more upfront to have ads turned off . If you buy and ad supported version - you can remove ads at anytime for $20.
The kids version is often considered the best deal because you're paying a small premium upfront to get more - same hardware, a nice case, no ads, and the 2 year warranty, which is an extra year from the standard.
