Seems to be the best Team USB3 drive out there - a NewEgg review:

Great flash drive - Constant speed 12/1/2019 4:40:35 AM
Pros: The cheapest flash drive I can find that holds a solid transfer speed. Keeps a solid 40-50MB/s. Every other cheap 128gb drive will drop to zero transfer constantly (Even teamgroups other 128gb USB3 Drive on Newegg).

Replying to your own thread to bump it up, like I just did?

The original post was for $10.99, but the price dropped since then. That warranted a bump.

I have one of these. Made in Taiwan. Works fine so far, one year with sparse, backup usage.

Kind of slow, but the OP review comment is correct. Real world usage, it can sustain around 40MB/s writes, with no drop outs. Unlike crappy PNY Turbo drives, which it replaces, which does that repeat 10-12 second freezes during sustained, heavy writing.

I'll post my CrystalDiskMark bench, but I've never seen it write that fast. Reads are probably correct.

Your numbers look great for a USB drive - even if the real performance is 2/3rd of that. Although, I've come to realize that flash drives get the worst quality flash these days, and should only be used with great care. SSDs & micro SD cards are far more important markets.

I shared this deal around the office, but I didn't jump on it. I tend to use at a maximum 8GB of a flash drive, usually under 4GB as I usually put installer DVD ISO's on them, but I do recognize the awesome of this deal.

Instead I did some searching and I found 16GB Team Group drives for under $4. I bought five of those, they fit the way i work better, but still, this deal inspired me to find that one.

Amazon has many different Team Group flash drives. Many are about the same price. Where can I find specs on read/write speeds. I found none on Team Group's website. Is one of theme better than the other?

I have some of a different model that the one in this thread. It's slow but OK. The one in this thread was said to be better than that one for some reason.

hmm, I just read this review:
I cannot recommend the C188 or the C186 Drives from team group as they cannot transfer large files quickly. 80GB will take about 1.5 hours to transfer with this drive. Find a better drive and the same transfer will take 20 minutes. I recommend the C175 as it can hold a constant speed

maybe they are different...

Does having a cap, no cap, LED, no LED, place to attache a lanyard or not indicate they wasted money and the guts of the thing isn't as good as it should be or that they did right by the insides and splurged on outside looks and features?

The C175 in the picture is USB 3.0 but the text title of it says it's 3.2.
I've seen two up votes for C175, one each on two different websites.
I don't see a C188. It and the C186 has a down vote.
What about the C183 and C145?

-EDIT-
I logged into Amazon and the pictures for the C175 changed to show USB 3.2 on them.

Get ready, I think slow 64Gb USB2 drives are about to get real cheap on Feb 11 at NewEgg. I expect this price level:

These are not the greatest, but should be good for boot disks. And they cost like they are only 16Gb in size.

Its still more expensive per GB than this.

I bought that once and one of two was a dud, and those ones definitely feel like $5, even the plug is plastic.

These ones passed chkflash, maybe luck.

Still a bit too wide to fit side to side on some hubs.

Can you do me a favor? Could you run a couple of apps to see what's inside this C175?

These 2:
https://www.usbdev.ru/files/chipgenius/ - version v4.21.0701
https://www.usbdev.ru/files/usbflashinfo/ v9.4.0.645

They will spit out a bit of info about the internals. I'd like to know which controller C175 has. Here is a C186 Team drive that I have:
