After confirming the above, i went through the steps to create a Paramount Plus account and this time it worked! But you have to use a new account. Existing active account won't link. I tried that too.
The problem we are having now is the offer to even get the cheap Sportsline and then get Paramount+ at all isn't working.
I was able to signup but can't find the cancel button. When I go to sportsline.com/settings, and I my Account Details, and there is a "Save Settings" button at the bottom. Anyone else have this issue with trying to cancel for the extra 6 months? Thanks!

I had this problem on mobile/phone view. I changed to "desktop" view in Chrome and could then see the cancel button. I was getting an error after cancelling (to get the extra free 6 months), but after waiting a few mintues and trying a few more times it eventually worked.
