No it wasn't. It was 799 last week only. It was at 699 couple of months back and has been posted here. after that, it was 799 until this time.

Showing Windows 11 on the Costco site at this point. I plan to put linux on it after playing with Windows 11. FYI for those who might prefer 10.

It's one of the smallest, thinnest and lightest laptops on the market, hence the name from HP. Also happens to be really high quality relative to the price.

Only drawback for me is that I would rather have the white model with the higher resolution screen since they're such a small upgrade price on the HP website, so I have to wait until it goes on sale there again.

Yeah definitely not been this price for 3 months, but at least since 2/1 according to my own Costco price watching and what the website says for the promotion. However, you can find some very similarly spec'd versions of this for around this price from time-to-time all around the internet, including HPs own site. I wouldn't recommend anyone pay much more for one of these because of that.

But Dell and HP definitely stand behind their products with warranty repairs. LG, Asus, and Razer are not nearly as smooth with their C.S. process for repairs.

So far my (cheap) HPs have been rock solid. I've had so many Dells fail on me, including an XPS laptop at work that I probably won't touch them for a while... Haven't had the HPs long enough to really compare longevity, though. The only gripe I have with these is the small battery, especially if you don't run Windows on them. At least my HP Pavilion with 11th gen i5 doesn't last very long...

Can anyone suggest a nice sticker that can cover the ugly HP logo?
