This has been nice so far and haven't had any issues really with mine other than when our house lost power. Had to remove and re-add the thermostat it was odd. I also heard some people having issues with the heating aspect and this thermostat being a little trigger happy. I don't use my heater other than maybe 2 times a year so it didn't pertain to me. Only thing I wish is there was an option to have a sensor in another room

I was looking for a new thermostat I was between this and the nest. I might end up going with Nest due to the discount from the power company.

I bought and returned two of these. The humidity sensor was just not right. I have a calibrated hygrometer and not only were these thermostats off, they moved in the wrong direction when the AC was on.

I have this for a couple weeks now and have no issues so far. I changed from an ecobee 4 and much prefer this. Only thing I miss from the ecobee is it asking me if I want the set temperature for 2 or 4 hours after I set it.

I am curious what you like better about the Amazon one vs the Ecobee? I really like the Ecobee's remote sensors to average out the temps.

The remote sensor I had was not accurate as I had an old fashioned thermometer next to it to see the accuracy.

also I know ecobee 4 has Alexa integrated but for some reason I could never tell Alexa to set the temp to x or to turn off the thermostat. this one is much more friendly on that. my issue with this is I need to go to the Alexa app and navigate to the thermostat to turn on the thermostat while ecobee I open the ecobee app only.

I had the same issue at the start ( I have heat pump). It was not the thermostat but a setting in it which needs to be flipped based on your heat pump brand. It was not a thermostat issue. I changed the setting in menu and everything worked perfectly. This is not unique to this thermostat but applies to all thermostat for heat pump. Lookup "reversing valve"

Happy customer since then
